DATING STATUS: Happily Married

It all started with Guido, our first male Veiled Chameleon about 5 years ago. Sandy bought him for me for my bithday and he lived in our office, in our home. But Guido didn't like to live in a cage, so we allowed him to roam our office all day. He soon took up residence on the wooden blinds where he spent most of his time. He would often roam the office, come sit on my shoulder, watch Sandy work from on top of her computer monitor, or hide in the mess of cables under the desk. Being a male, he began to show male activities with anything warm, like our hands. So we finally bought him a female. It took him all of about 90 seconds to realize she was the real thing! Soon we had eggs. Next thing you know we are building a breeding colony. Then we are building a breeding facility and a lab for our work with chameleons. Now we are Chameleons Northwest LLC and we ship our chameleons all over the country.
We breed the following
1. Veileds
2. Sambava Panthers
3. Ambanja Panthers
4. Ambilobe Panthers
5. Nose Be/ Ambanja/ Sambava morphcross

Thanks for asking more about the Reptaid. The Reptaid and the Reptaid XL are exactly the same ingredients but the XL is must more concentrated than the regular Reptaid because it is designed to be used on larger Reptiles. For instance you could us .5ml of Reptaid on a 500 gram bearded dragon. Or you could use .05ml of reptaid XL.

Elliot

great, thank you.  I'll be ordering some XL as soon as my funds transfer over to paypal. :)

Hi,

I was just curious if there's any discernable difference between the reptaid and reptaid XL except for the price difference and the doses?  Are there the exact same ingredients with the same perecentage of each in either bottle?

Thanks for the friend request. Welcome to RG and I wish you the best in your studies. The St Louis Zoo has an incredible reptile house. Been there and have talked to some of the herp keepers there. They do a wonderful job, and also do a lot of conservation work in the Missouri countryside. Have you been to the Reptile store on Lemay Ferry Rd in South St. Louis? Great store too. Check out our websites. www.chameleonsnorthwest.com and www.reptaid.com.

No as a matter a fact, I've never been in that reptile store before. But I have been wanting to visit it for a long time, simple because I love reptiles. And thank you for wishing me luck.

The Reptaid will most certainly knock out the URI in your snake. The sample thing is no longer available. We just have the Reptaid in 1 oz bottles, available on our site www.reptaid.com. If your snakes weigh over 250g, you want to get the reptaid XL. If you have any other questions, feel free to call me .

The only thing I have right now that is handlable? are two Black Milk Snakes. They originate from the mountains of Panama and Costa Rica above the 6000 to 7000 ft altitude range. I have owned Basalisks, Iguanas, Alligator Lizards,(and an Alligator when I was 11), Blue Belly Fences, lots of other snakes, a Tokay Gecko that was 17"long when he died ,(he wasn't to keen on being handled though), that I had for 13 years and bought when he was almost 12" long, among others. I'm going to post some photos of the snakes soon.

Your Caimans are way cool. Not a pet you handle though I suppose. Do you still keep chameleons or something on the scale you can pick up and hadle?

Yes, you are correct. I had to let him go after we finished taking photos of him. We did see another Flap-necked on the side of the road as we were entering the Ngorongoro nature reserve in northern Tanzania.

We researched that for you. He is a Flap-Neck Chameleon, Chameleo Dilopis and that breed is from Tanzania. You are the envy of every chameleon keeper if you got to go to Tanzania and see them in their native habitat. Should I assume that you didn't get to bring him home but just took a pic with him?

That looks pretty cool, thanks. I'll read up on it a little more later.
