I am a self-proclaimed herp addict!!! This isn't anything that I ever imagined doing...keeping herps. It happened as a result of a tragedy. In April of 2007, my 23 year old son was killed in a car accident, and who better to care for his gecko and beardies than good ol' Mom, right? It began as a labor of love, my way of honoring my son...who I loved more than life itself. It just snowballed from there!!! Currently, I have 16 Leopard Geckos, 2 male Bearded Dragons (3 1/2 years old, 2 years old) and 2 female Bearded Dragon (3 1/2 years old, and 14 months old) Add in the furries (2 dogs and 2 cats) and I have my hands full with this zoo!!! I love animals of all kinds, and if I had the time, space, and money...there would be less homeless animals...because I would take them all in!

My dream would be to start a Reptile Rescue. I love all kinds of reptiles and hope to expand my collection. There are so many reptiles out there that need a good "forever home" so I would love to offer a temporary refuge until they can find that loving home.
