Wishing You a Very Happy Birthday !!!

Happy Birthday!!! 

Hey. Im doing great. Todays my 24th bday.

Nuggets doing great. His tail is growing back lovely. It doesnt seem to hurt him at all. He is still shy but he tolerates us being in his enclosure close with him well. He will puff up a bit at first but when he licks my skin he usually calms down and allows me to pet him under his chin. He does sometimes get nervous when a new person comes close to him and he darts around the enclosure. I was thinking about covering up his tank but he has a large hide he can get into so I dont think I want to do that. I dont want him to be stressed out but I also dont want to keep him away from human contact because I would like to have him be comfortable around people. I do keep the kids away though. I dont want anyone scaring him. No fingers wiggling at him and no one looming over him. 

Basically Nuggets personality is lazy  He spends most of his time burrowed. He sleeps more than he is awake. He wakes up at around 11-noon and heads back to sleep at around 8pm. When he is up he is basking or eating. He is in love with superworms and crickets. He is not to fond of egg but he mowed down on some salad which really suprised me.

Nuggets chippin up a bit. He unburrowed himself for a while yesterday and roamed around his tank. That was definitely nice to see. He has beautiful color that I HOPE does fade but it probably will. He is black and gold but his underbelly is white. 

Tegutalk is okay & I have posted a few times. I havent gotten replies. I am honestly not sure if I am going to stay on that site or not. There has been hardly any traffic in there. Everytime I go there only a handful of people are logged on.

I think they have a bad rep too. I do have a hatchling. I named him/her Nugget. Nug's quite shy but has a cute personality so far. I have had him home for 5 days now. He has not tried to bite at all but he does raise himself off the ground and lift a front leg when I enter the enclosure to do cleaning or to add food so I place my hand flat and move super slow. He just runs up and licks me so Im sure he knows who I am by now. :) I did bring him home with half a tail. I knew it would grow back and its VERY hard to find columbian black and whites in upstate ny. I bought him from Acks Exotics. I go there every week. Carl, the owner, is awesome. His tail will grow back it just wont be beautiful like before. Im okay with that. I have a Chinese Water Dragon with a broken tail as well.

Hey! Thank you for the add. I just registered for tegutalk.com a few days ago. Still trying to figure that site out. I just got a columbian black and white tegu. 

We got about a foot of snow!! what about you?? Ofallon..isn't that STL area?
