DATING STATUS: Looking

I am a single dad living with my 8 year old daughter in Ocala, Florida. I spent 4 years in the Airborne Infantry for the United States Army. I did 5 months in Iraq during Operation Desert Storm. I worked for 6 years as a Fugitive Recovery Agent in the State of Tennessee.
My daughter's mother and I seperated in June of 2007, but we remain good friends. My daughter is the single most important aspect of my life, and without her I would simply be a man.
I am an artisit by nature, a warrior by instinct and a devoted father by choice.

Primarily Pantherophis Guttata. But I like most of the Colubrids.
It's getting close...I will be bringing my potential breeders out of brumation around the 21st of March. I am looking forward to my first breeding season. I just hope the economy picks up so that I can actually sell some of the offspring that I'm not holding back!
I am wanting to do some selective breeding projects with some of our locality specific Yellow rat snakes. I know a lot of people don't care for them, but I really like them. They are quite variable in their appearance as well as temperment. They can obtain a fairly impressive size, and sometimes have a very menacing look about them that just screams..."Go ahead, stick your hand in here!".

I love being outdoors and in the bush! Obviously I'm into almost anything reptile.
I also enjoy doing artwork with a variety of mediums, but my prefered medium of choice is oil pastels on Canson paper.
I build custom cages, hides and water bowls from time to time. Not as often anymore since I went to a rack system and did away with the majority of my display type enclosures.

Well I went to the Daytona show with just 3 snakes in mind that I wanted to pick up. I ended up bringing home 9 new ones! Damn my lack of self control when it comes to snakes!
Here is my current collection. Please note that this is subject to change without notice ;)

Daughter (8 year old, Angel Sweetheart morph) 0.1.0 UPDATE*** (pos. het for growing up way too fast)

I am very excited about some of the potential breeders I have coming up this season. I probably won't breed all of the snakes that potentially could breed this season. I just don't want to get stuck with a bunch of snakes that I don't really want to hold back.
I do have high hopes for some ghost projects, and possibly some Florida kings.

I have now acquired enough snakes and changed my mind on several different ideas.
There are still a few corn morphs that I would like to get, but for the most part I am happy with my current collection.

Skills? I got mad skills dude! lol

This is where you will be able to read further installments of the Lost Soul series that someone on here evidently couldn't handle. Not for the squeemish.
I suppose that it only fair to let everyone know that these "stories" are, in large part, part of the biproduct of periods of severe darkness within my own soul. During these bouts with depression and PTSD, I often find comfort in what I have long sinced dubbed "My Hole". It is from within the confines of this hole that many of these stories are incubated to full growth.
