In my spare time I volunteer at a local wildlife sanctuary I care for Tigers, Lions, Wolves, Bears, Birds, Reptiles, Monkeys, Kangaroo's, Camel, all sorts of barnyard animals.
At home I have my 5 cats, 1 dog,1 Ball python, 1 Maklot Python
MY ANIMALS
Lucius my Ball Python have had since May 09 was born in March 09
Crixus my Maklot Python just recently aquired was born sometime in 2005 or 2006
That's my problem ..lol. They are beautiful to look at. Right now with the baby, it gives some time to save up for his permanant home. I wish I had room for all the other ones I really, really like too. They're all addictive ..lol.
How is your maklot coming along ? In all the pics he always looks so lovable. Kingsnakes ? They have some personally, huh ?
Thanks for the advice. I have a feeling he wasn't given a lot of attention with his previous owner. I hope to change that. Cal kings really are fun personable snakes.
HI, I really, really enjoyed looking the pics of some of the animals you work with at the safari. They are beautiful animals !!!!!!! May I ask how you got involved in such a wonderful place ?
Ugh! I feel so bad for them when they get those nasty sob's. When I got them on my Burm it was before I learned about the new stuff they have and I ended up using snake oil him all down. Needless to say, that was really tough considering his size and how slippery. Than I did his house the old fashioned way with bleach ...Uhhhh! But your absolutely right, at least you know what the problem is and it's treatable :))))
That's great to hear that both of your snakes are doing well! Nothing wrong with spoiling them ! I do the same with my 3 Burms!! I have to really work hard to spend time with my entire collection though! Good luck with the new enclosure. I'm sure it will turn out great!
