Hello A little about myself well I live in sunny California Ive been keeping reptiles for about 15 years I like all reptiles and its hard to pick which I like more I also have been keeping and breeding freshwater fish for over 15 years.Feel free to message me if you have any questions or just wanna talk critters!

Im Interested in Ornate Monitors (V. ornatus) This species is commonly kept in captivity, but in the past has been described as V. niloticus. As a consequence it is not clear, which reports refer to V. niloticus or V. ornatus.

I like all types of reptiles if I had to narrow it down I would have to say Monitors and Colubrids

Yea my females laid eggs late in the season... not to meantion that my hypo female double clutched so I didn't think I'd get eggs so late in July. All in all I can't complain since this was my first year breeding corns and I got 3 clutches! I would just love to be surprised with something unexpected. We'll have to wait and see.

I see you're going to have lots of hets this season too. I'm mostly going to have normal het hypos but one clutch should be albinos het for snows... We'll see about that one. As for the panther geckos I didn't know the stripe was so common. I never saw one other than mine... It could be just not common in this area. So the stripe I'm assuming is a simple recessive gene... I was thinking of getting a xantic one if I can get a decent price on one. Other than my snakes and geckos I had one of my turtles lay a clutch. They won't hatch for a good while... She laid them in the water but I hatched submerged eggs before so I'm not worried. I hope to hear more about your projects as things progress. =)
