Here at SSuperiorSSerpents we work with Colubrids, North American and some Asian species as well. To learn more, check out the site, SSuperiorSSerpents.com Its a work in progress.

I really love kingsnakes, especially the Eastern Chain King. Support your local herp society. Stay involved with the community when it comes to herps. The more people we educate, the more snakes that may be spared "the shovel".

Starting to get into the Hognose world to see how it goes.

During the 2010 season, I produced 2 Hybino's from a Fla x Eastern King project.

I see you are trying to upload pics also.  When you get the box that reads:  ' no image available ' it means the pic is too large.  Sometimes I have to place them in photobucket.  Hit ' Edit ' and ' Resize ' them to a large and then I can resave them to my computer and finally upload here.   I hope this helps you :))

The snake is 11 yrs old? What do you mean by chill out? Is it aggressive when the tank is opened up? Or is it something else?

Yep. The snake is 11 years old. It comes after me when I open the lid. I havent' been able to really hold it. I just took it out really quick and put it in a storage box to eat and then quickly put it back. It's used to eating live in it's cage. I fed it f/t and it ate it just fine, but I think that's where the agression might come from. But it's my first king.
