Skunked in the Sierra's
Posted On 07/06/2011 14:22:39 by ScottT
Just got back from a 5 day trip to the Sequoias. We stayed at Redwood Campsite, between Ponderosa, and Johnsondale at approx 6700ft. I only saw fence lizards. Counting my rats
Posted On 05/22/2010 01:03:20 by wftright

The old saying is "Don't count your chicks before they're hatched." In the snake hobby, maybe the equivalent saying should be "Don't count your rats before they're swallowed." Even so, I'm going to take a chance and count a some rodents. Specifically, I'm counting eight rodents and seven snakes for what should be the first time this year.

This count is exciting for me because I'm one rat from having the last of my snakes break his winter fast. Duncan, my male pastel ball python ate his... Read More
