I've been dreaming of doing something REALLY BIG in The reptile industry for many years now and I'm finally doing it!

I just got The keys to my new building, located in downtown Lodi, CA. I'll be relocating The Serpentarium, which is currently 3,000 square feet / 2 stories, into a building that's 3 stories and 30,000 (thirty thousand) square feet!

I feel as if I'm a week behind in blogging. Last Saturday, I took a walk near my home for The first time in over a month. Being busy, being sick, and bad weather had kept me from walking for a long time. On Saturday morning, I headed out The door and took my camera along.

I hadn't walked a quarter mile before I found a chipping sparrow that wasn't shy at all. He stood there plucking seeds from The soggy grass and letting me take pictures. Here's my favorite.
