I live in Austin, TX with my wife and two kids. I have always loved all sorts of critters and have kept pets ever since I was as child. I was an Air Force brat so got to live in a lot of places and catch and keep lots of different critters. Lucky for me my parents were very tolerant and nurtured my interest in animals as appose to squashing it. My wife is accepting and patient when it comes to my pets. If it were up to her we would have no animals in the house, the kids and I love them so she puts up with it, as long as I don't go off on a tangent and start talking about one of my critters for too long.
I currently breed Crested geckos but also keep gargoyle geckos, a Halmehera gecko, a Whites Tree frog, a couple of albino african clawed frogs and several invertebrates.

I love most reptiles and amphibians however my wife very much dislikes snakes. I am allowed to create habitat for them in the yard where I can find and enjoy native serpents but no snakes in the house.
