Just some clarification.
Assuming the anery is not het for amel and the amel is not het for anery, breeding the young back to parents will not produce snows.
Bar any unknown hets, the young will be normal double het.
Line breed the syblings to each other and the results will be:
9:16 normal 66%het anery 66% het amel
3:16 amel 66% het anery
3:16 anery 66% het amel
1:16 anery amel (aka snow)
Breeding back to amel parent will result:
1:2 normal het amel 50% het anery
1:2 amel 50% het anery
There's a decent chance that either the amel is already het anery and/or the anery is already het amel. You'll find out when the eggs hatch.
