Hey! Does anyone have any ideas or personal experience on where/how I should start lookin/makin (for) design ideas for turtle tables and iguana closets? I need both to be moveable because I am in the military and subject to being moved at a moments notice, and expandable because my animals won't be the same size forever. Any suggestions, hit me up.

Back on this topic... I found an Iguana enclosure on craigslist for $150. It's 4'x4', and comes with all the cage furniture.

Ok back again to this topic that seems to be not-so-popular. I picked up the cage today. It was kinda heavy but it's nice. There was a divider in the center, but I just finished cuttin it out to make more space for my iguana to climb around in it. I think it will work good for a couple years.

are you still trying to make a turtle table??
I see you have RES, are they what you're planning to have the table for?
I made one for my semi aquatic central american wood turtle that was great for quick transport. I used 2x4's for framing the table top box and legs.
The legs had dowels that were glued into the legs and fit into holes on the table top so they were easily removable. I had wheels on the bottoms of the legs so I could roll the table into different rooms when it was together (just used an old set of computer chair wheels).
1 sheet of 8x4 foot particle board made the entire table top which was about 4 feet long and 2 feet wide, then had 1 foot high sides all around, and a top over the "land" area to make the turtle feel covered and safe without needing a seperate hidebox inside the cage.
I cut a hole in the bottom of the table big enough to fit a 20 gallon clear rectangular tupperwear container which was used for the swimming area.
I'll have to see if I have any pictures, but with all the hardware, wood, and tupperwear I used I'd say it only cost me 30 bucks to put together, and only weighed 20lbs (totally empty). Plus it fit in my car (nissan 240) when the legs were taken off and the tupperwear container was out of it's hole in the table.
Hope that helped give you some ideas.

I know this is an old post, but thought i would give a cheap tip on the turtle table. I have to bring my turtles in for the winter, and found the cheapest way to make a turtle table for their indoor living was to take apart an old dresser. I got it off from freecycle, and then layed it on it's back and removed all the hardware from inside. instant turtle table/box. I put mine in my shed during the winter with heat, and hanging lights and they do great. The dresser was big enough for substrate, seperate climates and a large water area.
