I'm going out of town - so I'm having someone from local pet store water my animals.
He's a little skiddish of snakes - he's fine with the babies, which are the only ones that will need watering (big snakes have big water dishes, they'll be OK), and he's fine with the rats.

Anyway - he wanted to see my biggest king, so I pulled out my nearly 5 foot MBK ... and wham ...

Feeding response, he tried to eat my index finger, it was rather cute.
Fortunately the guy is still coming - he just made it clear he's not checking in on that guy :D

What a wuss! JK  I used to clean cages for a buddy that had some very aggressive boas and pythons, nothing huge like retics or burms. Just some Blood pythons, Blood boas, Amarali, Ringed Pythons, all of which were never held as babies and some that were WC. You just have to respect them and understand their behavior to avoid being bitten, for the most part. Sometimes even a nice one will surprise you if you aren't paying attention. My Candy Cane corn bit me the other day out of nowhere, it totally surprised me. He was a rescue that almost bit the dust but managed to make it, still a bit skinny but has a great appetite, obviously, lol.
