I have a 10 gal tank that I keep the fish that feed my turtles are in. I usually have about 10 fish at any given time. My turtles love these little guys. And at 12-28 cents each theyre extremely affordable to keep a steady supply at hand. There's only one problem with them though. Sometimes, when I feed them live they like to hide in the rocks that make up the turtles' basking area, and every once in a while come out and tease the turtles. It lets them get exercise though so I can't complain too much.

you may want to be carful about feeding too many goldfish to the turtles, I've heard that they contain something that will block calcium absorbtion.  They are good in small amounts but they shouldn't be the main diet.

I only feed them a gold fish each once a week. So it really isn't that bad for them. It gives them the animal protein they need plus the exercise.

You can get better feeder fish for your turtle besides Goldfish which are fatty. try feeder Guppies. Our turtles loved them

Well goldfish are inexpensive. Like, I can get 10 larger ones for $2.80 and 10 small ones for $1.20. I was thinking about catching a few crawdads from the pond we have on base to feed them.

No where really around here that sells either of those. And due to my weird work schedule, I'm pretty much confined to Great Falls, MT.

If you set up a pair of convicts in a tank those will go nuts and produce many babys quicky they also do all the work in rasing them all you have to do is keep water healthy ( routine partal water changes) and feed them well and wala you have your own fish factory convicts also get alot larger then guppys so even adult turtles can enjoy them

Any animals easy IF you provide it's basic needs
