Blizzard Cal King -

Purchased at San Jose show from Randy Wright
Randy also had some sweet GBKs and Splendida's - but the Blizzard was my score.
He feeds exceptionally well, even in blue, I suspect he's going to grow like a rocket.
My plans for him - he's going to (assuming all goes according to plan) stud my female holdback Adobe king in 2010 or 2011 to produce some adobe's that are 3/4 cal king 1/4 MBK - should produce some amels with interesting pattern.

(note - the cream has started to turn quite yellow)
Assuming I can pick up a female lavender (preferably striped) from Checker Belly at Sac this year - he'll stud her as well, to make tripple hets towards a hyper lavender. If I can't score a lavender, he'll stud one of my female banded het lavender - some lavenders make a visual double het with amel, so I should be able to tell which of the young are suitable for making a hyper lavender, but I'd rather get a homo lavender for him and have no doubts.
He'll also eventually stud my big 4' banded amel. Should make some amel het hyper (unless she is het hyper, then I'll get some blizzards too - don't know).
Lemke line Axanthic Brooksi -

She was purchased from Nokturnal Tom - and is my third snake from him (last year I got a het PB Brooksi and an MBK)
She also is an excellent feeder, though so far has only taken live for me. in fairness - Tom asked if I wanted one that took f/t and I told him it didn't matter, I'd work on switching it - so he said he'd just pick one of the bigger ones for me. She just went into blue, so I'm not going to feed her (even though she's probably eat) until post shed - as in my experience, that often entices them to switch. She absolutely gobbles down live, though.
Brooksi grow fast, so I suspect there will be no problems getting her to breeding size by 2010, when she will be paired with my het for PB brooksi:

The goal is to try and produce a double morph PB Axanthic (phantom).
Since my male is only het for PB - the young will only be 50% het - but if I hold back a trio from the clutch, there is a 3/8 chance that the male and at least one female will be het for PB.
Adobe Kings -
My female holdback adobe king (MBK x Cal King) is already pictured. The male I'm holding back -

He's also got his cream turning yellow. I'm hoping in 2010 to pair him with both of my '07 MBK gals to produce some 3/4 MBK 50% het amel. The MBKs will be breedable by then, I just hope he's big enough that see him as a lover and not as dinner.
The goal of the Adobe project is to breed them back to MBKs to eventually get Adobe's that are visually indistinguishable from MBKs but carry the Cal King amel gene, and then produce an amel.
My suspicion is that the result will look like an amel splendida. I think the black in MBKs is the result of over production of melanin, and that the splendida pattern is still there underneath. Break the production of Melanin and I think the result will look like an amel desert king.
Other possibility is that it will look like a blizzard. Time will tell.
Banded Cal King -
The swan song clutch of my banded lavender, she passes 8 eggs (1 infertile) but did not pass her last two, and died attempting to.
Female holdback - perfect banded!

She has not fed yet. She has been offered both rodent and lizard as prey, hopefully she feeds soon.
I will also be holding back a male from the clutch. Haven't decided which one yet, all of them are *mostly* perfect with only few half bands, so I'll probably pick the one with the best feeding response. So far, #1 is the only male that has taken f/t - but I like #7 a lot (feeds well on live), he's the egg I slit when I was worried the clutch was dead - and even though I slit the egg, he was last out.

If the perfect banded female doesn't make it - the only other female from the clutch will be kept. She is the only one that took f/t from the start, so I might keep her anyway.
