I've read a few places that pinkies are a good supplement to a tokay's diet once or twice a month. So I went out and bought some and my tokay won't touch them. Not even when I shoved one right in his face figuring he'd snap at it and realize it was food. Didn't even open his mouth.

So... 1) Is it worth the effort to get him to eat them and 2) If it is worth the effort what exactly does the effort entail?

Because I have about 10 frozen pinkies that I have no use for and would hate to just toss them out... Thanks!

can you tell me the size of your tokay maybe is that the problem? becuase pinkies are good for adults tokays but only once pinkie per month take care

about 4.5" from tip of nose to BASE of tail

i would say he is still a bit small to get pinkies. but ofc it depends on the size of the pinkies to >.<
well, there is a way that almost always works, but its kind of brutal:
take a needle and puncture the pinkies head, im pretty sure your tokay will be more intrested then.
if not, well then your tokay really dont want pinkies. every animal is induvidual, and some oviously prefer good ole bugs^^

Forgot to update. He actually did finally take a f/t. I just had to leave it in there with him for a bit.
