When I got home early this morning/late last night this guy still hadn't shed yet....
Today while I was cleaning / feeding this boy decided to shed right in front of me....
After taking pics and examining them I can see why he has a brownish tinge to him...The red pigmentation from the saddles is saturated into the ground color some....Cool...Something I've seen with Thayeri, but not Mex Mex.....The red mixed with the grey speckling creates a brown coloration...
I am now not sure if I should call it "Chocolate" phase unless I can reproduce this consistently...
Also, the red saddles have some speckling to them as well...Something else I've rarely seen.....Gives the red a Maroon coloration....
Man do I like this male....he has some potential ingredients for a couple of future projects......
Here is a few 'good' pics I got of him...I need to get some good outdoor shots of him tomorrow....
