Added another 2 to my Boiga love. :)   So far... Boiga dendrophila melanota (a puppy compared to the 2 new ones)  Boiga dendrophila gemmicincta and Boiga cyanea ... and WOW the gemmicincta is a pissy camper!

I love them though despite the adrenaline rush he gives me :)

gemmicincta (excuse the mess...moving in one week)

cyanea

innocence can change...quickly

Well, the black one made me thin of Darth Vader, and the little big eyed one brought to mind Diablo.

As cool as they are, I think I will just stick with non-venomous. One of my great joys is being able to pick up my big bull snake babies and carry them around. Couldn't do that with your guys! LOL!

Keeping cats allows man to cohabitate with tigers. Keeping reptiles allows man to cohabitate with dinosaurs.

They remind me of my Izzabella,  ready to tag your ___ in a second, only with the bonus of mildly venomous.  Be careful demon.  They are beautiful and naughty.

Those are some gorgeous babies!  I have to second Singingtothewheat and say...I'm sticking to the non-vens  but I can admire these guys from afar!  Sweet new babies!  Congratz!  And really loved the black mamba wannabe! lol

Boiga irregularis are known to be the more toxic of the Boiga genus.   As for taking Frozen/Thawed...depends if it is a WC or not...who had it previously, etc etc.  I think I have just had pure luck on that part..

Good luck if you do get one!! be careful too

oh and to mention, if they do take f/t you really have to get them mad to strike at it..eventually they will take it and eat it

Really all depends. Bite and release.. nothing  more then a corn bite... Bite and hold.. and chew... depending if yo u have an allergic reaction.. can be a whole different thing.  Anything from mild swelling and discomfort over a few hours.. There has been a case where a guy was bitten by his female.. I will put the link here.. look through the whole thread... page 1,2, and 3.    No one thought they can be "that bad"
