Since I showed off my Mex Mex and Ruthveni Projects I couldn't leave these guys out.....My all time favorite snake of all.....I think my excitement for these are due to the fact that you can never predict what will emerge from their eggs.....It is certainly like Xmas in the summer when these guys hatch.....Here are some breeders for next year, some future breeders and some thayeri from the past.....

Enjoy....

Now your talkin! I said this before that if I could only breed one snake it would be Thayeri. They are not my top favorite snake but for breeding they are the most exciting with the variations and possibilities. Thanks for sharing such beautiful pictures.

Well that is a tough question. it's actually a three way tie sort of because I am having trouble deciding from the Eastern Indigo, a well colored Gold Brooks(normal but high Gold) and a blue Grey banded king. I love blue snakes even if it is a garter or even a racer so I will have to go with the Blue phase Greybanded King. I have only seen them in pictures and I wounder how much the camera adds to the blue hue, but if they really look like the pictures I've seen, then that is my first choice, I think....

I started trying to note favorites and gave up. They are all gorgeous.
Good intentions will always be pleaded for every assumption of authority. It is hardly too strong to say that the Constitution was made to guard the people against the dangers of good intentions. There are men in all ages who mean to govern well, but they mean to govern. They promise to be good masters, but they mean to be masters. - Daniel Webster

This one!!! Although I sure would not turn my nose up at any of the others!

That one you like is the infamous "OLD YELLER".....He is no longer alive, but I have two of his sons that will breed next year.......I am anticipating one very similar to Old Yeller......Fingers crossed.....

Aww...I'm sorry to learn Old Yeller has passed away. He was the prettiest variable I have ever seen. Hoping his sons will carry forth the great colors. I like how the bands are bracketed with a little black, and the red lightens to a gold in the center, on a rich cream background.

The second one looks like the best shot at getting another Old Yeller. But then, because they are variables, you may get something entirely new! What with the exponential factor of ever more unique colors and patterns emerging, I can see how one could wind up with over a hundred snakes! LOL!
