Well I am going back to work tomorrow and that is only because I have no choice at all.  I have to get back to work.  I have been sick since 12/21/09.  I'm no longer contagious at all just so tired.  The thought of working my 12 hour shifts makes me wanna just curl up on the couch.  Keep me in your thought's ya'll.  Anyone else had to deal with this bug.  IT IS awful!!!!

I'll be sending healing thoughts your way...just pace yourself the best you can, and try not to overdue.  I know how hard that will be but.....you really need to as much as you can.

Thank you so much honey.  Send them thoughts for me.  It's my understanding that feeling pretty yucky for a month after is not unusual.  I make a terrible sick person.  I'm much better at taking care of sick people.  HUGSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS and thanks again

I had it a while back and it sucked. I have asthma and I had to go to the hospital. My lungs were so bad and my head was killing me from sinus pressure I wanted antibiotics so bad but the doctor said it was viral and nothing they would do for me. My friend drug his out for about 3 months. While I was at the hospital it was a 7 hour wait because they were so full of people with the same problem. I kept ice on my neck because pills would not keep the fever down. I feel for you trust me on that one. I got bit by a tick a while back that made me sick that was still worse for me though.

Take large doses of Vitamin D and C at least 2 or 3 thousand miligrams of C (Ester C is best) and lot's of Garlic and chicken soup! Not a cure but it helps. I'll keep you in my prayers too!

What snakehead said.
Also, if you like it, lots of Mexican food. That always seems to work for me, with plenty of hot peppers.

Just the thought of doing a nurse gig for 12 hours makes me want to hide UNDER the couch! You are certainly made of sterner stuff than I.

It didn't work out.  I ran a low grade fever last night, up and down all night hot, cold, hot, cold.  I go back to the dr again on monday.  I think I was trying to push it faster than my body was willing to go.  I have not been this sick since chicken pox at age approx 35.  This is the PITS

I am not surprised. As tough as you are, this bug has actually killed healthy people, so it is a serious blow to your system, not just a little cold. I've been having to be very careful to not bring this bug home (I am the one who goes out in the world and takes care of outside business). My partner would probably die if he got this thing.

In a few months you will be totally recovered. It's frustrating to have to wait so long to feel back to normal, I know.
