Very nice John! What kind of speckled is that first one? It's not a white sided is it?

What picture are you referring to? (give me a pic number...lol)

And...all the speckled kings (L. g. holbrooki) in that series are possible het for whitewall.....I have a male whitewall but he's too small yet to breed......

There are a couple pictures of a totally speckled L. m. mexicana and a yellow amel holbrooki as well.....
Btw...thanks for the compliment snakehead....

OK unless I miscounted it is pic #30. That is a very pretty speckled king! It has more white or cream along it's sides near the ventral, than my Louisiana Specks. But it doesn't look like a white sided. Is this because it is het for white sides? I am still looking for a male Louisiana for my girls, but I may get a het white side in the meantime. By the way I too am anxious because I will be starting some new projects though they won't be ready to breed for a couple of years yet. I have picked out some Grayband females to go with the Blue male I got, I will be getting a ghost and a hypo Het ghost Brooks in about a week. I also put a deposit for a pair of Doug Mongs high yellow Brooks hatchlings later this year. He has some of the nicest high yellow Brooks I've ever seen. I may also be getting some more Brooks from Marten Fisher if he breeds them this year. The waiting really SUCKS!

If there is no GOD, then we live in vain!

I especially like the two pyros and the knob. I guess that is because next year my pyros will be old enough to breed. What are you going to breed the knob to? If you get babies from all these snakes (assuming there are about 20 pairs represented), you are going to be knee deep in snakes this year!
Keeping cats allows man to cohabitate with tigers. Keeping reptiles allows man to cohabitate with dinosaurs.

It looks like you are going to a busy man soon! I am just raising my temps. I will be attempting to breed 20 females this season. Good luck with the breeding. I am on the lookout for a nice female Thayeri for my new male.

That is a Possible Het for WhiteWall Speck.....They are more of a creamy yellow rather than the bright yellow you find in east Texas and Louisiana......

Have fun with your new acquisitions......

I knew you would like those GBOF......
And I am actually not breeding the Knob this year....His pic slipped in with the others...LOL
I do have a young pair of Candy Cane (reduced black) Line Knobs that may go next year.....
The pyros should do the trick this year....If we're lucky......
BTW....those are most of my breeders but not all of them......
and I have a waiting list for offspring off of every pair......But I don't count my snakes before they hatch...So much can go wrong......
