A few of my pairs have decided to do the "deed"........
I am still waiting on many other females to "accept" their mates, but these seem to have an early start on the rest of the other breeders we have here.....

Excellent John! I said this before but, I was not a big fan of the Mex Mex but those speckled animals you have are beautiful! I also really like your Thayeris in the 4th pic and the ones below them I think they are ruthvens, aren't they? Very nice, I hope success for all your pairing bro.

I think they are black Thayeri aren't they?

Hey I thought I had all my baby Thayeri eating fine and some of them just stopped eating on me. Even my best eater which was taking two and three pinks. Is this normal? My Breeders never stopped eating from the time I brought them home as babies, so Im puzzled.

Yep...those are melanistic thayeri....

And if your thayeri were eating up till winter they still should be feeding well if there is a good thermal gradient.......90F on the hot side and 70F on the cool side......Plus...Make sure you provide them a moist place to hide (damp spaghnum moss)......Humidity and temp choices are detrimental mexicana husbandry.......

I hope you get them feeding again soon....try the brained pink trick under a dark bowl.....Also live/brained works well even though some folks think it is cruel......You gotta do what you gotta do IMHO.....sorry PETA.....lol
