A Boid or Colubrid Morph is a proven genetic trait discovered and proven to be genetic via breeding. A Designer Boid or Colubrid is a snake "designed" in captivity by breeding and joining 2 Morphs and seeing these visually in one specimen. For example the Motley Boa was discovered in the wild and bred and proven genetic in captivity to be a bonefide Morph. Since it has been "designed" by the introduction of other Morphs such as the Albino gene to produce the Albino Motley Boa or the Hypo gene to produce the Hypo Motley Boa. These then were "joined" once again, and after 2 generations produced the Albino Hypo Motley Boa better known as the Sunglow Motley Boa. Possibilities are endless, this group was created for all those interested in "Desiging" to have open discussions about the subject, post pictures and comments and come up with good and unique ideas for its members.
