From Western NY, South of Buffalo. Enlisted in the Air Force right after High School as an Air Traffic Controller. I've been stationed in TX, MS, MI, AK, NC (NC since 1992) with brief deployments to Florida (after Hurricane Andrew), Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait. Retired early 2006 after 21+ years and after a year and a half was hired back on as a civilian.

Married to my wife Lynn since 1987. Our only child, Teal is in High School. She's very interested in science and animals and her interest is partly why I got into snakes. I mentioned maybe getting one when Teal was 11 and she was very excited about that idea and did a bunch of research on her own. So we started with one cornsnake and our collection has grown. Teal has a Ball Python and a Leopard Gecko.

My wife is a Horse person, she has 4. We also have 3 dogs, 4 cats, a Sun Conure (Satan).

I'm only interested in snakes, mainly colubrids, and arboreals like Amazon & Emerald Tree Boas and Green Tree Pythons. Not into venomous...aside from Hognoses and Mussurana's which are not considered harmful to humans.
