Neighborhood birds

I feel as if I'm a week behind in blogging. Last Saturday, I took a walk near my home for the first time in over a month. Being busy, being sick, and bad weather had kept me from walking for a long time. On Saturday morning, I headed out the door and took my camera along.

I hadn't walked a quarter mile before I found a chipping sparrow that wasn't shy at all. He stood there plucking seeds from the soggy grass and letting me take pictures. Here's my favorite.

Hi guys - Even though I've kept reptiles my whole life, I work in a fish store that sells saltwater fish. I'd really love to hear back from some people that have had their own fish shops and tried spreading out into reptiles or from anybody who may have had any type of pet shop and spread out into reptiles. Funny & Possibly Embarrassing

Hi everyone,  I was a little hesistant to share this with you, but here goes. This passed sunday I bought aspen bedding for my babies. I ran out. Anyhow I usually buy my substrate at Petsmart. I have to say that the price of a small bag of a volume about 1500 cu. inch is expensive at Petsmart and at Petco. The price was at $17.50 the last time I was there. Democrats pass S 373

I haven't seen this news reported elsewhere, but I saw on the committee rebroadcast that S373 has passed the Environment and Public Works Committee. The bill was amended to include the 9 large species that we've heard mentioned. They talked about removing the other python species, but they didn't read exactly what the amendment said. I looked for the new version at Thomas, but they haven't posted the new version.
