Somewhat sensible. I try to be sensible. I don't always get that done. Friendly and outgoing. Independent. However, I take NO crap. I try hard not to be the reason for anyone's discomfort but I will not be anyone's whipping post. I went through many years with my primary focus being making other people happy. After having my teeth kicked in a few times I came to the conclusion that maybe I deserved to get some happiness too.

Wild household with Dogs, Cats, Snakes, Rats, Mice and people. Something always going on. Noise when you wish there wasn't noise is a frequent occurrence. I'm a mom. That is a full time job right there. I have GREAT kids. I don't know how I ever got so lucky. My son is handsome, kind and smart. My daughter is gorgeous, super smart and very dramatic.

Wow, um a lot of things. I grew up an extreme animal lover. Constantly bringing home strays and begging to keep them. Or acting as funeral director for every animal found dead on our block. (Yea, I was sorta a dark kid) I was lucky enough to have an older lady around the block from me who was a big in the local A.S.P.C.A. and she took me under her wing. I was one of the kids you could find in the biology lab prior to the first bell, messing with the snakes.
I have my own motorcycle. Got it when I was forty because I decided having a Harley was like having a kid; you never have enough money to have one.
I love music, especially the rock from my era (The golden years of Led Zepplin, Pink Floyd, Fleetwood Mac and the likes) and the Blues.

4. The princess aka Smokey, also partially Blue Russian, stray and probably shared one of the parents of Dusty. A small cat, who never totally became socialized to humans. She adores my daughter and generally just tolerates the rest of the family.

Another thing I am very committed to is child protection. The world is a terribly unsafe place for kids in this day and age. KNOW WHO LIVES AROUND YOU. Tell you children what to do if they are approached. Remember to tell your kids that the bad guys often look just like us. Tell them over and over and over. Agree on a secret word or phrase. Teach them to go no where, go with NO ONE who doesn't know the secret word/phrase, not even family or friends. Tell them that no matter what they are told, what threat is made, their best defense is to run, run fast and don't look back. Scream FIRE FIRE FIRE!! As strange as it may sound, even if an attacker has a gun, your best chance is to RUN. Anyone that is willing to take your child with a weapon has no intention of letting them go alive. SCREAM AND RUN.
