Hi I'm William Flowers also known as the snake artist, wild Bill, that crazy Aussie bastard or just plain Bill.
I'm the artist who gets up close to his subjects.
I've been a professional snake handler for about 20 years but that doesn't make me a know all.

I love the snakes in my area The Tiger snake and the (Australian) copperhead. Snakes in general are
really cool.
And Aussie lizards are fantastic. When I was a small kid I loved dinosaurs and this was before you could get dinosaur toys so as far back as I remembered I played with the small skinks in my back yard.
The result is I love lizards, the bigger the better.

Outside of herps and art work?
I do like to watch Doctor Who while eating junk food. When I run out of Dr Who I will reach for a star trek or stargate DVD.

I'm more of a field herper. I used to keep Tiger snakes, (Australian)copperheads, whitelipped snakes, water pythons, blackhead python, carpet snakes, Blue tongues, she-oak skinks...well all sorts of skinks and dragons, long-neck turtles.
Now I work part time in the zoo industry and I'm responsible for a stack of animals so I would rather field herp.

Hey Bill,

I was watching the news this morning here in the United States, and there was a piece about scientists finding the root of cancer in Tasmanian Devils.  Your 2010 is getting off to a good start I take.

Happy New Year,

Moe Rateb
