Sneaky Serpents started as a Hobby that turned into a business.
I am a Vet Tech that loves snakes. It all started with the purchase of one garter snake. That snake got out of its cage, so a replacement was purchased. Then, that very same day, the first snake was found so I had to go out and buy another set up. That year I was introduced to the local reptile show. I purchased a corn snake that was in a 10 gallon tank with about 30 other corns. On my way out, I decided that I also liked a corn snake of a different color, so I went back in. I ended up leaving with 3 corns. That is how it all started. Ever since then, I go to tons of reptile shows, started breeding my own snakes, and it all became a business.
My snakes are also my pets. Every snake has its own name, and is not just an animal connected to a number for breeding. I care for each snake myself, so each one gets personal care and attention.

Snakes, Snakes and more Snakes!
I am a colubrid type of person. I am not into the boas and pythons as much as others, although I have rescued many of the larger snakes. I deal with various Corns, Kings, Milks, Rat snakes.
I also like creapy-crawly things. I like spiders, lizards, and just about all other reptiles and amphibians.
I also own 2 cats and a realllllyyy old tarantula.

Wow...this will be a constantly changing work in progress...... UNDER CONSTRUCTION.... FOREVER!!

Yes, I'm always extremely busy, but I love it.

P.S. If you're not heading down to the San Diego show, be sure to stop by The Serpentarium for our Grand Opening happening the same weekend. We're pretty much having a mini-show all weekend long with vendors who couldn't make it down to SD this year as well as allowing the public to bring their animals to buy, sell and trade with other attendees. It's also FREE to the public, with free food/drinks/music and lots of good sales throughout the shop.

"JIMMY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Seems like forever since we talked. How are You?"

Hey Misty,
Doing pretty good. Still waiting.....and waiting......and waiting to get some hatchlings.
Well, I'm down to 139 eggs. I had 148 total and 9 have gone bad. Not too bad.
I usually have a few go bad in the first three or four weeks.
Now the real test will be how many of these go full term and hatch.
I've been incubating dry so if I get a high number of these 139 go to full term and hatch without kinks I think I will be onto something her.
Good luck with all of yours....keep in touch.
by the way..thanks for the cool gift!
Jimmy

Lol. I love taking pictures of my snakes. I take new ones on a regular basis. But, I have noticed that sitting still is usually an issue. i just try to keep them on anything but a flat surface. They crawl away when on something flat. Merry Christmas!

I hear that, smooth serfaces are not good, unless you are planning on going on a SNAKE search of the house......The tree method works ok, but then you have to wait 4 the picure...lol.....It all is just time after all....lol.....Happy New Year......Hope that this new year is better than last .......Take care and have a good one.....

I managed to get some good pics of my snakes, while they were still cold from brumation. i am trying to get at least a couple pictures of each, while they are sleepy, sit still. lol Seems to work

I tried that this year also, but after getting tagged 4 times I gave up, the flash just didn't go over to well with them at all...LOL......Can't blame them, being in the dark 4 3 months and all at once BRITE LIGHT......I'd be mad too.....LOL
