Thank You :)))  Sounds like your ready for a Tegu.  Great job doing the research first.   I wanted to mention that because many don't and it's sad.   Bobby's a great guy !   Well worth the wait for a hatchling.  I know you will be happy with the Tegu :)))

thanks for the welcome =) awesome collection! love your JCP!

Thanks for the add, I hope you enjoy it here. My jcp is pretty cool. When unhappy and not wanting to be held he hisses rather loudly.... much prefered over a nip!

When you get your hatchling she will only be about 12" I keep my babys in a forty gal. breeder tank till they get bigger 24" or so,then i put them in there large cage,Too big of a cage overwhelms a baby they feel more secure in a smaller area, also makes things easier when taking your tegu out to feed or handle her, babys are a little scittish when bieng picked up, instinct tells them we are a giant predator, until you gain her trust, you dont want to be chasing her around a 4 foot cage and stressing her out, & always feed her outside of her cage so she dont get cage aggression. My 2 babys are 18" each & i keep them together in a 40 gal. & they have plenty of room.
