Hello and thanks for stopping by! My name is Sean Niland and I've been involved in herpetoculture for about thirty years now, most of which were BEFORE the word herpetoculture had even been thought up! Luckily, that experience has allowed me to create a successful herp-based business and turn my passion into a career. Today, my wife and I run a successful reptile breeding business called VMS Professional Herpetoculture. You can learn more about us by clicking here

Primarily interested in genetics and mutations, but if there's something yet to be learned about a reptile then my restless mind will look into it...

A life-long fly-fisherman, with a passion for anything and everything outdoors. Bird-watching, hiking, native american artifact collecting, ATV'ing, or just sitting on a rock watching the river slide by - all here in Colorado's scenic splendor.

Far too huge to list here!

Our facility houses 330 adult snake cages, numerous gecko colonies and gazillions of baby cages to hold all their offspring....probably best if you visit our web site if you are curious to see it all. You can learn see just about all the types of animals we work with, or tour our facility, by clicking here and using the links to view various groups.

The collection is heavy on Cornsnakes, Rosy Boas, Ball Pythons, and Leopard Geckos - with a smattering of Kingsnakes, Milksnakes, Ratsnakes, Sand Boas, and Fat-Tailed Geckos thrown in.

I stared at this for a while and decided there really aren't any herps I want anymore. I've pretty much got everything a guy could want, and what I don't have I'll hatch soon enough. I've been fortunate enough to have worked with a huge array of species over the last thirty years and more or less gotten it all out of my system. So what I want is for all of you to have a happy and prosperous year.

If you've never visited our web site, take a moment to do so! There are tons of informative articles in our Education Section, thousands of photos, and (of course) a few things for sale....
